Service Agreement – A condition of using your NDIS funding is to have a seervice agreement between yourself and Freedom4U. This will make sure that you and Freedom4U Holidays both agree about the supports you will receive, the amount of NDIS funding you will be using and how your supports will be provided. This will need to be signed and returned before going on holiday.

What does NDIS pay for? NDIS funding will only pay for your direct support hours. This will come out of your CORE support funding,Either from social &community or Short Term Accommodation-includes Respite.

How do I pay for my support hours? On your service agreement you will nominate how your NDIS funding is claimed:

  1. Give permission for Freedom4U to claim directly from NDIS
  2. If you self manage, an invoice will be sent to you directly and you will pay Freedom4U
  3. If you are plan managed an invoice will be sent to your nominated plan manager.

Guest Holiday Cost – A second invoice will be sent to the guest for payment of the Holiday cost.If using Social & Community then the cost will include accommodation, meals, activities and all modes of transport.If using STA-respite- the cost will include all modes of transport, and may include some activities costs.

What Support Ratio do I need? This will depend on your support needs that staff are required to assist you with on your holiday.

1:1 

1 (guest) to 1 (staff)

This can be an individual customized holiday OR Individual support within a group holiday, if suitable.

This is for guests who needs full support:

  • with Personal Care
  • in the community
  • handling their money
  • with daily living
  • with behavioural issues
  • Wheelchair guest
2:1

 2 (guests) to 1 (staff)

This can be 2:1 customized holiday OR 2:1 support within a group holiday, if suitable.

This is for guests who needs Supervising or Prompting:

  • with Personal care
  • in the community
  • handling their money
  • with daily living
  • with behavioural issues
  • Wheelchair guests (if suitable)
3:1

 3 (guests) to 1 (staff)

This can be 3:1 customized holiday Or 3:1 support in a group holiday

This is for guests who needs very minimal support:

  • with Personal care
  • in the community
  • handling their money
  • with daily living
  • NO behavioural issues

 

Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP)

As per NDIS guidelines Freedom4U will be operating under the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP).

This payment will assist providers to continue transforming their business in the move towards a more competitive marketplace. By accessing TTP, Freedom4U commits to publish prices, list their provider finder and participate annually in an Agency – approved market bench marking survey.

TTP rates include a 7.5% loading to enable providers to transition to the NDIS, and we harness this extra funding to increase the quality of the services we provide.A full list of the Freedom4U support rates, based on the rates in the NDIS price guide 2019-2020, can be found in the link https://www.ndis.gov.au/media/2051/download.
