WOW,  here we are celebrating Freedom 4U 10 years of service.

 

I have had the privilege to be involved in assisting and supporting  guests with organizing their  amazing holidays and activities of their choice.

Our Team, at Freedom 4U have grown in those 10 years, and keeps developing from our experiences, challenges and feedback from our guests, families and carers.  We love all feedback; this ensures we keep developing and supplying quality service that our guests deserve.

During our first 10 years, we have enjoyed witnessing our guests achieve fantastic holiday adventures. Some of our guest choose the thrill of going on the many rides at Disneyland LA and Universal Orlando.

Another time – While James was recovering from a traumatic accident, he spoke some Gaelic and had a wish to visit Ireland, as James said “to visit my ancestors”. During his holiday, whilst visiting a castle, James told the support worker finer details about this castle, which were correct. James has never been overseas prior. He also joined in singing some Irish Ballads that night, and knew all the words to the amazement of the performers.

Another guest experienced their first time cruising with us. She required a Patient lifter, which we organised to help make her dreams come true.

At Dubbo , our guest gained the courage to feed a giraffe from her chair, this was a “1st” for her. Others, it was there first time to play in the snow or go for a swim in the ocean.

There have been many 1st’s our guest have enjoyed and tried, from plane flights, cruises, international holidays, Helicopter flights, Roller coaster rides, Disneyland and Universal Parks, feeding and animal encounters, trying Escargots (snails), Crocodile, Bombe Alaska, Mock-tails, Mocha’s and many other 1st achievements. Also many guests celebrated their Birthday during their holiday.

Our Guest celebrated his birthday on a cruise with us.

Our guest had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of the plane that flew us to Singapore.

From starting Freedom 4U as a sole trader in 2009, then becoming a company in 2010, we have developed a close knit passionate team, learning together as we go. We have made mistakes, we have listened, we have implemented and evolved. I have surrounded myself with people who share my passions and wish to provide their best. My team is flexible enough to adjust to unpredictable situations when planning a holiday and travelling with others. We continue to grow.

We are staying optimistic with the changes taking place in our community being affected by COVID-19. Our Team are able to focus, plan, be innovative, creative and certainly evolve. Keep checking for upcoming Blogs as I introduce more of our wonderful caring, committed team members.

We have started planning a big year for our 10th Birthday Celebrations. And we will continue to celebrate this milestone even if we do so like never before. We have started our competitions, check out our competition tab.

We have introduce our 10 Backyard Holidays/Retreats/Respite for those of you who hope for a bright future and need to look forward to something local and safe,  after the restrictions have been lifted, these will be available at any time. This will be featured in our next Blog.

We have also planned a Birthday Event later in the year. Our Blog has started to keep people connected and we plan a new trivia game that we will play online.
